New Paths
Taking a different route to focus on me and develop the areas that I cherish most. I may be going back to school a may be starting my own business I may be going to California. No matter what decision I finally make. I am happy to accept what change it may bring. The main thing I want to avoid is the same Essence in a different Form. Combate

new ideas and new paths
My wrist is sprained... big deal the Gods were so kind to bless me with a spair.
Due to the wrist sprain I have had to modify most of my break dance sets for the shoot I am doing. If the wrist heals in time I may do my original sets, but it could be anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks for that. Considering I have not given myself a deadline to finish this video I guess it all depends on how anxious I get once I have filmed everything I can without the use of the wrist.
I am suprising myself recently both in and out of the gym. With my new way of training for stunts it seems to have made me very comfortable and understanding of my boundaries. It also has allowed me to push my previous boundaries over the edge of the cliff. I don't consider what I'm doing to be elite or anything, but I definitely feel much more content with myself then I have in a while. I can land something in the gym only a couple of times and then I emediately know if I am capable of doing it outside or not.
A lot of recent developments.
Curriculum
I finished writing out the end result of the curriculum so students can assess there current skills sets in comparison to what I believe to be skills that are neccessary to be an successful movement artist. It needs to be accompanied by a video of sometype to explain the layout and that is the only reason I have not sent it out yet. Also there is no progression order for the skills on the charts. The Curriculum is more like a check off chart to see where you stand it is not there so much to teach you everything, that is what I am there for. It is far from complete but it will be closer in the coming months. No rush for quality.
More available classes
I have been meeting and discussing with certain individuals to help expand the venues where parkour can be practiced in a gym specifically designed and catered to the Movement Artist.
More instructors
it is my intent to teach a dedicated group of instructors over summer to have more available due to the demands of good quality instructors.
My goals
I am going to attempt to go viral with some well developed music videos using dance, parkour, and and acro. If you know any good musicians that wouldn't mind me using their music for such a video please send them my way.
Right now
just took a few days off, been icing my wrist, and being creative with one armed pressing movements to see what i can accomplish.
That's all for now.

time to shoot
If you have been keeping track of my youtube channel www.youtube.com/movementconnections then you will have noticed that I have been getting cleaner at the skills I had originally set out to do.
The past three months of dedicated training have brought me to this final week where I will start to shoot the footage for my next big video.
It's kind of funny because improvement in certain areas has ultimately helped me in other areas. So because I have been working my back full twists I also have gotten better at my front full twists. Also because of all the kicking moves I have developed stronger hip flexors and hamstrings so my aerial moves have become more powerful as well.
Not much to report just letting everything flow out for this next video.
The over all curriculum has gone through the first proofreading and I just finished the 12 week curriculum timeline. Never a waisted moment here.
Going to really make my dreams come true, hell they already are.
Much love and Respect to everyone

Putting it all together.
Well this past week or so has been epique for me. I pretty much just worked on lots of combos and transitions. I am getting closer to my goals for where I want to be to make my Demo Reel and even if I am not landing the big skills that I wanted, all the work on the harder skills has made me stronger in the other skills.
tested my ring strength by performing an Iron Cross test. Since I recently have learned a few tricks on anatomical lock outs to make the Cross more technical the Static hold feels more likely to actually be attainable then ever.
My Free Standing Handstand Pushups are becoming even stronger.
The skills I am having the most trouble with but That I am seeing major gains in are Devil Drop, Double Back, and Rudy. They are all getting stronger but they still need a lot of work. I'll take it with a Smile.
I did my first one of these the other day http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RwnlIPq_7A4&list=UU4WCfX4yWsUPRsoubrBObTg&index=29&feature=plcp
Some big changes are coming to the education of my work and I look forward to all that has to be done to accomplish it.
I don't want to post to many of my Combos just yet, I want it to be a surprise and I want them to look good.
As far as conditioning goes I have just been making sure that if I do anything I make it very difficult. So like today I did a bunch of reps of one free handstand push up followed by a pistol on each leg, once my form went to hell I did false grip pulls until my form went to hell and finished up with Full Range of Motion Leg Lifts.
I feel very strong and confidant at the moment and I look forward to stay that way.

chucking and getting pumped
So this week has been interesting so far.
I have had a lot of free time so I have been able to focus on my beginner teaching program, my personal training, my family/friends, and having a good time.
I am just that closer to getting my 720 kick, just have to keep it simple and not over think it. I was able to get a good system down for mounting a 3 to 4 foot wall and then doing a back full off of it. I don't like to just stand on top of something, stop, and then do a move. It doesn't make sense to me. I like to do it in motion. I'm all for taking a moment of stillness but I find that i feel more expressive doing it in combination with other moves.
I also have taken the liberty of being a little risky (how could I be more risky) and have been forceing myself to try harder moves and amp up the difficulty to see if I am even capable of comprehending the moves. So far it has worked out pretty good and the less I think about the moves and go into them with a good attitude and have fun with it I usually do pretty good.
My conditioning as of late has been sporadic but intense, again just reminding my body to keep my muscle strong.
Today I did a few sets of weighted rope climbs, front open tuck levers, and weighted pistols.
I am going to see if doing one sided training will help with developing my symetricalstuff. for example. I want to see if doing weighted pistols will help my back squat or if performing a one arm snatch will help my dead lift. also as I progress with my lever training I am curious as how it will affect my dead lift and back squat as well I know it will make my arms stronger but I am curious about the core strength rollover into the power lifting. I will also be doing high reps over a long period of time of a just below my maximum to get used to the load and eventually when I get back to testing myself again I hope it pays off. Also I may invest in some of Will Roberts training he had me do when I got to hang out with him and the hocky athletes. look up Ultra fit evosports http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0D6_TrE8Z_g I will be doing the leg training. The one sided stuff I want to see if it works well with over all fitness as well, so one armed push ups, one arm isometric pull up holds and so forth. I know it will help but I am curious if I only do the oen arm stuff without really doing any of the two arm or two footed stuff just how much it will make a difference.
Furthermore one of my friends is very interested in some personal training to get him in top condition for doing Acrobatics at a professional level. So I may be making workouts for him and posting them on the you tube channel so feel free to help yourself to those. I am getting closer to the day I want to start shooting film for my major demo reel I want to make. getting more excited with each day as it grows closer and the progression I am making.
I am nailing my cast away and today I did a successful three giants in a row, they werent pretty but I am happy none the less.

Training for memory
Man do I feel good.
Been getting plenty of rest and recovery.
My strength and power has gone through the roof.
My Skill sets are increasing like a whole new me.
Since adopting the train the nervous system for maximal output method I feel I have really began to understand my skills even more.
My 720 outside crescent is about 20 degrees off so it will come soon
My double back is within reach
My Rudy is doing so well I feel that probably after one more session I will be throwing them outside.
Strength wise I decided to test my power lifting skills and see where I was at with that.
My dead lift is at 375lbs and my back squat is at 245lbs and my current weight is 167lbs.
so far so good and I know that those number will increase with a bit of training my nerves and muscles. I am pretty happy with my results considering I have done very little weight work in my training regime. It just goes to show that you can truly accomplish great things with just body weight exercise and not putting a limit on what you know your max is. However, now that I know my max I am going to break through those barriers like none other.
Also I am still training my isometric holds such as levers, iron crosses, planches and flags. All of them feel much stronger and my free standing handstand has improved greatly. I have been adding weight to my pulling exercises and my dips to see if it helps with breaking through some plateaus.
As far as Break Dancing goes my power moves are getting better every time. My flair is starting to make better sense and my air flair is showing signs of possible existence(I can do one crappy one.)
I have been interested in making tricking combos recently as I have never really had any that I feel are strictly tricking. I usually have one tricking move and then 3 tumbling moves and I intertwine them. I enjoy the kicking element a lot and it opens a lot of doors for new skill development.
Nutrition wise I invested in a multi vitamin right now I am using Living Green Liquid Gel Multi for men. I like it. Soon I will invest in a shake powder again. I got a hold of Jujimufu from www.Trickstutorials.com and he gave some direction on where to go to get some good quality customized shake blends. www.Truenutrition.com
Like I said I feel great and I have had a lot of opportunities arrive for me to explore. More on those in the next post perhaps though. I also have been doing a lot of reflection and writing to deliver better education through teaching. See you all at Sunset Saturday this weekend sat 3 to 6 pm meet on ash and 5th st in tempe going to be fun.
